We've Only Just Begun

We've Only Just Begun is one of two fulva hybrids we introduced in 2025. This first generation offspring of fulva 'Yunnan' and Empire of Dawn and Dusk has proven to be a great addition to the hybridization program. Nicknamed 'Best Edge,' this daylily has been used to create many seedlings with eyes and edges in various shades of yellow and white with red, pink, or maroon eyes. The hope is that these seedlings have an increased measure of hardiness and resilience. We've Only Just Begun has 43 inch tall scapes with 3 way branching and an average of 15 buds. The 5.75 inch flower is light golden yellow with a light red eye and matching edge and a star-shaped yellow to green throat. It is an early midseason, dormant tetraploid. (H. fulva 'Yunnan" x Empire of Dawn and Dusk)
